This group is for Carers looking after someone with an Alzheimer’s/Dementia diagnosis. It is very informal, welcoming and everyone in attendance comes along for an opportunity to get a short break from their caring roles, meet other Carers and is a safe, respectful space to talk, share experiences and learn from each other.
As well as receiving Carer-specific support and information at the group.
“The first time I came along to the group I was nervous, but when I left that day I felt on cloud nine. It was a great afternoon meeting people who are going through the same problems as me.”
-Dementia Carers Support Group member
