Renfrewshire Carers Centre is a one-stop shop for unpaid Carers operating in Renfrewshire for over 20 years. We are a charity established by Carers for Carers and have developed a range of services to support Carers in their caring role and provide opportunities to have a life outside of caring. HR Advisor

 

Details of the role including main duties and responsibilities:

• To deliver a high quality, comprehensive and effective range of generalist HR services to management

• To assist and support managers through all stages of the absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures

• To provide professional advice and support to managers on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures

• To review and update / develop policies

Successful candidates will have qualification and or experience in the following areas:

• CIPD Qualification

• Sound HR generalist experience, with experience and aptitude for developing, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures.

• General knowledge of current and forthcoming employment law, case law and best practice.

 Carers Advocacy Worker

Location: Renfrewshire Carers Centre

Salary: £20,520 Pro Rata

Hours: 16 hours per week

 

Details of the role including main duties and responsibilities:

· Enable Carers to gain access to relevant information and explore their options to make informed choices.

· Represent Carers and act on their behalf, if required

· Make Carers aware of their rights

 

Successful candidates will have qualification and or experience in the following areas:

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Understanding of the principles of Advocacy

Details of the role including main duties and responsibilities:

 

· To assist in developing Carer led services in Renfrewshire.

· To assist in securing funding to develop and sustain services.

· Consult with Carers to identify gaps in services.

· Research new and innovative services for Carers.

 

Successful candidates will have qualification and or experience in the following areas:

 

· Experience of Project Development

· Experience of fundraising and successful funding opportunities

· Experience of monitoring and evaluation

· Excellent communication skills

Respite Team Leader

Location: Renfrewshire Carers Centre

Salary: £20,520 Pro Rata

Hours: 35 hours per week

 

Details of the role including main duties and responsibilities:

· Develop and manage a range of respite services to provide a range of high quality services to Carers and their families.

· Responsible for the recruitment, induction, training, and supervision of respite staff

· Ensure that services provided are in line with relevant legislation, regulations and policies.

· Carry out home visits to Carers and vulnerable people in their homes to assess their needs, carry out risk assessments and develop support plans.

 

Successful candidates will have qualification and or experience in the following areas:

 

· Experience of organising a care provision service and care planning.

· Experience managing staff

· Ability to support Carers sensitively and effectively.

· Excellent communication skills
