On Sunday, 18th August, thousands took to the streets of Paisley to participate in the Paisley 10k road race.

As a local charity, we were humbled that two teams donned their trainers and braved the rain to run on behalf of Renfrewshire Carers Centre.

We are extremely grateful to Ewan Smart and Gerry Kearns who ran the 10k and have raised £190 so far!

We are also very grateful to our friends at Arcufit who had over 24 adults and children, running in aid of our charity. Team Arcufit have smashed their target of £500 already and are still collecting donations!

A HUGE WELL DONE to everyone involved in Team Arcufit, including - David McNaughton, Alexis McBride, Emma Ross, Jayne Shorts, Karen Shearer, Nichola Shearer, Marry Smith, Billy Smith, Jennifer McLaughlin, Louise Hendren, Nicola O’Neil, Ellie O’Neil, Lindsay Harkins, Gemma Denny, Kelly Murray and all of the children too.

THANK YOU all so much - we are extremely grateful to everyone involved!

We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown by those who have sponsored our runners - thank you for your very kind donations.

For anyone wishing to donate, our Just Giving Page is still live.

Taking part in fundraising activities like the Paisley 10k helps raise crucial funds for our services for carers.

If you would like to help us fundraise in the future or have a fundraising idea we could participate in, please email enquiries@renfrewshirecarers.org.uk- we are always looking for volunteers and new ideas.
