Carers Rights Day is a national awareness day for Carers in the UK. This years Carers Rights Day takes place on Thursday 21st November. 


To celebrate Carers Rights Day,  Renfrewshire Carers Centre are hosting a 'Cupcakes and Carers Rights' information morning.

Carers in Renfrewshire are warmly invited to come along to the Carers Centre to find out more about their rights as a carer.

On the day there will be stalls with information including, energy advice, employment rights, housing advice, Power of Attorney and Guardianship, self directed support and benefits advice.

Staff from Renfrewshire Carers Centre will also be on hand to introduce you to the Carers Centre and let you know about what supports are available to you, such as Adult Carer Support Plans, Emergency and Future Planning  and support groups. 

This will then be followed by tea and cakes and an opportunity to chat with other carers.


All Carers are welcome, you do not need to be registered with the Carers Centre to attend.
