Are you stuck at a difficult place in life, or struggling with stress, anxiety, low mood or depression?

Renfrewshire Carers Centre will be running  a new 8 week block of CBT Group Therapy sessions for carers and former carers.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one type of talking treatment that has been shown to help with anxiety and depression. CBT helps people explore and change how they think about life and free people from unhelpful patterns of behavior.

Group counselling offers a safe and therapeutic environment for current or former carers to talk and learn through sharing experiences with others.

Group therapy provides a space to talk honestly and directly about feelings, gain insight and understanding in one’s own thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Being part of the group experience can improve mood, self-confidence, esteem and identity, and bring more balance to the expectations of one’s own life as well as others.

CBT Group Therapy sessions will take place on Wednesday afternoons, 1pm - 3pm.

This group will run for 8 weeks from Wednesday 4th  September to Wednesday 23rd October.

Please note, spaces are limited and CBT Group Therapy may not be suitable for everyone. If you would like a space in this group, or for more information, please call us on 0141 887 3643.
